So a while ago I made this gif. I’d made one before that had a cat nervously rubbing their hand saying “I think my life is over.” In 2021, right before school applications, I started to feel better about life and made this. I was then promptly rejected from where I’d applied. I applied the next year too and was rejected again. A lot of time I can’t seem to connect with this piece anymore, because my life *does* feel over. Everything does. But sometimes I come back to this when it shows up in my Tumblr notifs, and it makes me feel nice. It seems like people really connect with this piece and I’m incredibly thankful for that. I’m so glad to have a piece of art resonate with so many people. I’ve never had that before and haven’t really had it since.
